APPLY FOR A ROOM

HOW TO PASS
REFERENCING
IN 48hr!

We understand that referencing can be a pain with some agencies, so we've included these tips below on how to pass referencing in 48 hours!

  • Photocopy of ID
  • Bring your ID with you when you view the property so we can verify it
  • Or if you outside of the UK, we can verify via Zoom so please tell us your availability.
  • Provide us at least 1 reference (email and contact number) of either a previous employer and/or a previous landlord.
    * Tip if you were previously renting from an agency please give us your address and the period in which you were renting the property so they can check their records.
  • 3-month bank statement. If you use online banking you can normally download your monthly statements, please send us the latest 3 months so we can verify your earnings.
  • If working professional provide details of employment: Contract, position, salary
  • OR if you are a student, provide proof of your student status (email confirmation from university / UCAS number), student finance details and if needed a guarantor if you are not able to pay finances directly from your student finance.

How to report repairs

If a problem occurs in the property our dedicated maintenance team will be happy to help. Please call 0204 530 7581 to report the repair or fault and your property manager will endeavour to get any fault rectified in the shortest possible time.

If there is an emergency at your property, Amply Real Estate must be contacted immediately as well as the relevant emergency service so the problem can be addressed quickly and the correct action taken.

General Repairs and Faults

If a problem occurs in the property our dedicated maintenance team will be happy to help. Please 0204 530 7581 to report the repair or fault to your property manager and we will endeavour to get any fault rectified in the shortest possible time.

For Emergencies outside of office hours

  • Call the emergency number on 07823 333962.
  • Leave your name, telephone number, property address and description of the emergency.
  • You will receive a call back to decide the immediate action to be taken.

Incase of gas emergencies (including carbon monoxide detector alarm sounding)

Turn off the gas supply.

  • Call national grid on 0800 111 999.
  • Open all doors and windows to expel gas.
  • Put out naked flames.
  • Don’t smoke.
  • Don’t turn on electrical switches.
  • Wait for an engineer from the national grid to attend.
  • Call the emergency number on 07823 333962.

In case of floods

  • Turn off water using stop-cock.
